Stadium Woods Endowment Fund

Established by the Friends of Stadium Woods, this component fund of the Community Foundation, supports educational, recreational, and research activities in Stadium Woods, a rare old growth forest predominantly white oak urban forest located in Blacksburg, Virginia; and simialr activities related to forestland in the Commonwealth of Virginia.

Faculty Matching Grant Challenge: 
Current and retired faculty in the College of Natural Resources & Environment at Virginia Tech have pledged $2500 to match all donations to support the endowment beginning Monday, April 21 through the end of the Spring semester.  
 
Please help us continue to grow the endowment to provide an ONGOING source of funds for education, research, and protection of VT’s old-growth urban forest while demonstrating to the university the importance of this rare resource and its tremendous public value!
