Our Vision
Our vision is to keep people well and living in the community with their families rather than in institutions.  This vision is based on valuing the family circle that provides the love and care that all people need.

We are making a difference! Our participants and family members say:
My husband is more social. His mood is better. He can carry on a conversation. He gets up and showers and shaves without being asked. He is smiling and happy." He is working Sudoku! I can go out to lunch with a friend without worrying. I haven't been able to do that in two years."

Day Services offered:

- Therapeutic programs and activities that contribute to the optimal physical and cognitive functioning of participants in a safe, secure, and cheerful environment.

- Health monitoring and medication management by health care personnel.

- Nutritious meals, socialization, and suitable exercise and activity programs.

- Education and support programs for family caregivers to help them cope with the challenges of care giving.

- A Board Certified Music Therapist works with our participants one on one or in groups to develop individualized interventions to address their social, communication, emotional, physical, cognitive, sensory, and spiritual needs.

- Our Recreation Therapist works with each individual to develop a program of activities that meets individual goals and interests

Fall Prevention services offered:

- Fall risk assessment and bone density scans

- Intervention plans with scheduled follow-ups

- Collaboration with your physician

- Classes, activities, and programs to reduce risks of falls.

Many falls can be prevented. Our program will assess your fall risk, teach you ways to prevent falls, and help you develop a personal plan, including how to overcome barriers to your success.

Construction will start on our new Therapy Garden in the Spring of 2017. Horticulture therapy has been proven to reduce anxiety and depression as well as being a source of exercise and feelings of well-being. Please, come by the Center to explore opportunities for volunteering.
