GIVING DAY GRANTS AND PRIZES - GENERAL GUIDELINES
Your organization must register to be on the GiveBigNRV website by March 21, 2019. If you completed the registration process in 2014-2018, you do not need to register again.
Your profile page must include the following information by 5pm on April 12, 2019:
- Your organization's logo (known as a medium avatar in the system)
- A description of your organization's purpose and programs
- An updated donation box (the default language included in the C&P template "donate for" must be eliminated or updated with relevant information).
Some Giving Day Grants will be awarded based on the number of unduplicated donors to your organization. We determine unduplicated donors by working with Click & Pledge to determine the number of unduplicated names and email addresses associated with gifts made through your page. Grants are not awarded based on number of transactions, so a single donor making multiple transactions would only be counted once for the purposes of a grant.
A minimum donation of $10 is required. The CFNRV will only count unduplicated donors making gifts of $10 or above for the purposes of awarding a giving day grant.
Component Funds of the CFNRV (endowment and pass-through accounts managed by the CFNRV) are not eligible to receive a giving day grant or prize.
An organization may receive only one (1) giving day grant, even if that organization would qualify for more than one.
Grants and cash prizes will be distributed via check to the winning organizations by the second full week in May.
As with all grants awarded by the CFNRV, giving day grants are awarded at the discretion of the CFNRV's Board of Directors. The Board may withhold funds if it believes a participating organization violated the mission, values and guidelines of the CFNRV and GiveBigNRV.
